1. What does fashion mean to you in today’s world?
It gives us the chance to express a certain way we are feeling,in the way we dress. Fashion though dosen’t need to be so serious,it should be fun and abit random.
2. What other women throughout history have inspired you in your life and career?
I think Bjork is so amazing and pure! Gabrielle Chanel, Jenny Kee, Cate Blanchet,Cyndi Lyper,my Nanna.
3. What is your favourite quote/ words of wisdom?
Oh no-so cheesy,but your never fully dressed without a smile.
4. What do you think is the key to success in the fashion industry?
Working really hard.
5. What is your favourite outfit? (can be personal from your wardrobe or your label)
My pyjamas-sleepy time!
6. What is your first memory?
I don’t really have one! Except I remember I remember our house being built when I was really little. And eating ice cream with my brothers.
7. What is your favourite material to work with?
At the moment silk dupion.
8. What has been the greatest moment of your career/life so far?
So many…finishing our collections is also amazing! Probably finding out we were finalists in a competition in Italy..it really blew our minds over there!
9. What is your favourite place in the world?
I’m not sure yet! But I am obsessed with Japan. The countryside in Australia always makes me feel alive…I love the smells and the fresh air and colours!
10. If you were given a pin board and asked to pin five of your greatest inspirations in your life and career to it, what would they be?
Too many!!Bjork,RWB,friends,textiles,nature.
