1) What is the most significant hair style in history in your opinion?
Mia Farrow, Sassoon haircut
2) What is the most powerful influence on hair trends?
Celebrities. Eg. Madonna in the latest who with a ripple. EVERYBODY wants it!!
3) Where does your inspiration for hairstyles come from?
Fashion, fashion mags, catwalks, fashion on the streets etc.
4) What is the key element in educating and inspiring new styles and stylists? Remembering everybody learns at different speeds
5) What is your favourite aspect of hair competitions and awards?
Winning! haha
6) If you could do anything with your own hair what would it be?
Go really short or even shave it. But I can’t cos of my moon face!!
7) What do you think hair brings to a person’s identity?
It is their identity! Spoken like a true hairdresser!
8) What has been your most memorable hair disaster?
I went green once, but by choice so not really a disaster at the time but now………..
9) What is your advice on building a rapport with clients?
Just remind them ‘It’ll grow back’ haha
10) Who‘s hair would you love to do?
Wentworth Miller….. ok, I’d just like to meet him! Hugh Jackman would be cool to cut also.
