1) Who would your ideal person to shoot a portrait of be?
To photograph one of the children I have been photographing in the slums in Manila ten years later with the hope that they were able to make a better living
2) What artist would you most like to collaborate with?
A compassionate writer
3) What is the most magic part of looking at the world through a camera?
The power to construct a powerful story looking through the lens, the possibilities are limitless
4) What are the disadvantages and advantages of the digital era?
The immediacy of digital spoils being in the moment when you are shooting. There is something magical about the process of black and white film, the grain, the surproses on the negative. However, technology is getting so good that the digital quality is rivaling that of film, especially colour. Nothing can take take away from film though
5) Where do your ideas for photoshoots and advertisements stem from?
From life around me. Social issues give me the inspiration to shoot.
6) What other photographers have inspired you in your life and career?
Top six photographers....Mary Ellen Mark, Joseph Koudelka, Alex webb, Sebastio Salgado and Henri Cartier Bresson and Franceso Zizola. My contemporary favourites
Carolyn Drake, Trent Parke, Franceso Zizola., Balasz Gardi .the list in endless there are some truly amazing photographers out there
7) What other things in fashion and art inspire you?
Great literature and music
8) What is your dream location?
Brazil
9) When you don’t have a camera in your hands what other things make you happy?Cooking, music , travel, my boyfriend, yoga(when I actually practice), animals, red wine and children
10) If you were given a pin board and asked to pin five of the greatest photos ever onto them what photos would they be?
